Victor Earl Weaver (79) beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully at his home, with his family by his side on June 29, 2020.
Born April 30, 1941 in Kendallville, Indiana he was the son of Earl L. and Beverly (Wolfe) Weaver.
Victor graduated from Erie Academy class of 1960, were he received many awards and was a champion wrestler. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 63 to 1965. He was married to Carol Ruffo and they just celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Mr. Weaver hired out with the New York Central Railroad and work for Penn Central and Conrail before retiring from CSX after 43 years of service. He loved and was dedicated employee. He enjoyed archery, bowling, fishing, golfing, hunting, and darts which he received numerous medals and trophies. He was a member of Premier Fitness Center and loved to work out on a regular basis, He loved to play cards with his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Carol Ruffo Weaver, daughter Vickie J. Mascarello, Tammie (Carmen) DeAnna, grandchildren Anthony Mascarello, Kalie Mascarello, and Jacob DeAnna, sister Nancy Cassidy , and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry Weaver, and sisters Wendy Salzar and SueAnne Weaver.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Private family services were held at Guerriero Funeral Home with Father Raymond Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Condolences can be made at guerrierofuneralhome.com
