Naples, FL - Rocco John Taccone, Jr., 79, joined the Lord in Heaven on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Rocco is survived by his children, Christopher (and his wife, Heather), and Amy (and her husband, Chris), and four grandchildren, Sydney, Gavin, Alex, Jaynie, and great-grandson, Max, and beloved dog, Bella Luna.
Rocco was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Marie Beisel Taccone, his mother and father, Rocco and Elizabeth Taccone and his sister, Therese Taccone-Wilson.
Rocco was born in Erie, Pa. on June 12, 1942.
He graduated from Academy High School in 1960. He graduated from Gannon University in 1964. Upon college graduation, Rocco was a proud member of the United States Army who served in Vietnam. Rocco and Jeanne were married on July 25, 1970. Rocco and Jeanne were co-owners of the Cabaret Restaurant and Lounge. After moving to Naples, Fla. in 1987, Rocco served as a Correctional Officer at Hendry Correctional Institution and as a Probation Officer for Collier County until his retirement in 2010. Rocco was a strong husband and devoted grandfather. He was passionate about his love for the United States of America and passed his diligent work ethic and principles on to his children and grandchildren.
Rocco was a United States patriot who enjoyed helping others and sharing his life experiences and stories with family and friends.
A private service was held in Rocco's honor in Naples, Fla.
