Richard “Dick” Sienerth Sr., 43, 4256 Fargo, died Thursday, June 6, 1985 at Millcreek Community Hospital.
He was born in Pittsburgh Sept. 7, 1941, a son of Margaret Coleman of Erie and the late Elmer Sienerth.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Sienerth was an insurance salesman with Metropolitan Insurance Co. Previously he was employed with Prudential Insurance Co. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, and the CYS Club.
Beside his mother, survivors include his widow, Anna Cochis Sienerth; two sons, Pvt. Richard P. Sienerth Jr. of Ft. Polk, La., and Steven J. Sienerth, at home; a sister, Mrs. Al (Norma) DeBello of Erie; two brothers, Ronald M. Sienerth of Erie, and Robert J. Sienerth of Deland, Fla., and his stepfather, Richard Coleman of Erie.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home East, 2607 Buffalo Road, today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend a service there Saturday at 1:15 p.m., and a mass at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
