Mary Ann Whitehead Cook, 58, 9910 W. Law Road, North East, and formerly of Erie, died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Erie May 30, 1941.
She lived in North East for the past 16 years. She was a graduate of the American Educational Institute. She was an insurance adjuster for Fireman's Fund Insurance for several years. She was a member of the Park United Methodist Church, North East American Legion Auxiliary Post 105, Ladies Grapepickers League for Bowling, and Womens International Bowling Congress.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Lyle A. Cook; two stepsons; Jim Cook and his wife, Deanna, and Keith Cook, all of North East; and a half-brother, Frederick A. Whitehead of Ocala, Fla.
Friends are invited to a service Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East. The Rev. Dr. Victoria Wood Parrish will officiate. Burial will be at North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 W. 12th St., Erie, Pa. 16505.
