Marilyn Paris del Solar, age 68, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 28, 2011 at her residence.
She was born in Erie on March 11, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Katherine Spadae Paris. Marilyn was self-employed, doing domestic cleaning for many homes and businesses. Marilyn enjoyed knitting and bowled for many years at Eastway Bowling Lanes. She was a member of Summit Seniors Center.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, William "Bill" del Solar; two step-children, William S. del Solar (Linda) and Charles S. del Solar (Hollie); her twin sister, Carolyn Niejelski, two sisters, Rosalie Sustak and Elaine Paris; two brothers, John D. Paris, Jr. and Richard Paris; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Schubert and one brother, Anthony Paris.
Friends are invited to gather at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service there at 4 p.m. Private interment, Calvary Cemetery.
