Judith Ericsson Wiertel, 58, of Rochester, Beaver County, formerly of Erie, died Tuesday, Dec 5, 2000, after an automobile accident.
She was born in Erie Aug 5, 1942, daughter of the late George and Lucille Rastatter Ericsson. She owned Wierpride and Benjamin Grooming in Erie and Pawpurri Grooming in Beaver. She also worked as a clerk for Target department stores in Cranberry Township north of Pittsburgh. She attended St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. She was a member of several English springer spaniel organizations and enjoyed breeding dogs.
Survivors include a daughter Sherri Dubensky and her husband, Thomas of Cranberry Township; a son, James Mark Wiertel of Indian Trail, N.C. and two grandsons, Christopher and T.J. Dubensky.
Friends may call at Glenn Kikdoo Cranberry Chapel, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at noon at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, Cranberry Township. Burial will be at Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Township.
