Georgianne Bowe

Georgianne (Bowe) Kinnard, most recently of the Millcreek Manor, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 3, 2015. She was born in Burkesville, Ky., the oldest of three children born to Randolph and the late Fannie Laura Bowe. The family moved to Erie, Pennsylvania, where Ann was a longtime resident.

Ann graduated from Academy High School, and after which was employed at Hamot Medical Center. She later attended Villa Maria College and received her degree in Early Childhood Education, and was employed as a teacher at the John F. Kennedy Center and retired from Community Health Net.

Ann accepted Christ as her Savior in 1956. She loved the word of God, her family and her church. Her service in the body of Christ was great. She exemplified the scripture in Ecclesiastes Chapter 9, Verse 10, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might," and found great joy working in her church. She followed in her parents' footsteps, bestowing honor and love to her Pastors. She was a devoted Trustee at Cornerstone Liberty Community Church. She served on the Praise and Worship Team, Missionary Department, Usher Board, Baptismal Committee, and member of the Choir and Children's Ministry. Ann was a "stickler" for cleanliness and operated out of the Spirit of Excellence!! She loved to clean and put her hands to whatever task was put before her. Ann was a faithful, loving, generous, and dependable woman of God! She will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, her keen sense of humor and the countless lives she touched!! She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Ann was preceded in death by her mother Fannie Laura Bowe, and sister Pamela Ford.

She is survived by her father Randolph Bowe, son Terry (Debbie) Kinnard, her sister Pat (Richard) Woodard, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A heartfelt thank you from the family goes out to Rev. Dr. Sandra Vactor and the Cornerstone Church Family for their support and prayers, and to the staff of the Millcreek Manor for their dedicated care of our loved one.
