The family of Gary Clement Krill is saddened to announce his passing at home at age 80 following an extended illness (April 6, 2021). Born in Erie PA to Josephine [DeDionisio] and Clement Krill, he graduated from Academy High School after which he worked at A. Duchini Inc for a time and then joined the US Navy. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, he embarked on a successful career in various positions within Ford Motor Company until his retirement.
Gary wanted all to know that he loved his family very much and that he loved to laugh. He could be seen talking and laughing with everyone he met during his long walks through the neighborhood and at the art museum.
Gary is survived by Suzanne, his wife of 52 years and two daughters, Heather McCarthy [Adam McCarthy] and Mara Krill-Semper [Felix Semper]. He also leaves three grandchildren, Connor, Kate, and Jack and a sister, Mary Margaret Palmer of New York State. The family would like to thank the kind, compassionate staff of Transitions Hospice Care and Visiting Angels who helped us through Gary's illness. Our love and appreciation go out to all our friends who granted us their generous support during this time.
A celebration of Gary's life will be scheduled at a later time. Memorial donations may be made to Transitions LifeCare.
