Dennis "Pete" Komorek, 52, of 426 Clifton Drive, died Friday, Dec 23, 1994, at his residence.
He was born in Erie, April 9, 1942, son of the late Peter and Laura Chroscielewski Komorek.
He attended St. Stanislaus School and was a graduate of Academy High School. He served in the U.S. Army Military Police and was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. He had been a Millcreek Township Police Officer for 29 years and was the director of the Millcreek Police Department Golf Tournament. He was a member of the Elks Club and Erie Maennerchor. He was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Spusta Komorek; three sons, Kevin Komorek of Kodiak, Alaska, and Craig and David Komorek at home; a daughter, Julie Komorek, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Schneidmiller and Mrs. James (Nancy) Biebel, both of Erie; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton West Lake Funeral Home, 3816 W. Lake Road, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there Wednesday at 11:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 2801 W. Sixth St., at noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
