Carolyn Niejelski, age 76, passed peacefully, on October 3, 2018. She was born in Erie, to the late John and Katherine Paris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Niejelski, three brothers Anthony Paris, John Paris and Richard Paris; and sisters Rita Paris and Marilyn Delsolar.
Carolyn is survived by two sons Joseph and Richard, her sister Elaine Paris, and her sister Rosalie and husband Tom Sustak. She is further survived by a brother-in-law William Delsolar, and many nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends.
Carolyn graduated from Academy High School in 1960. She worked for the Boston Store, Marine Bank, and retired from St. Vincent Hospital in 2014. Her greatest role was wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor. She was a kind, caring, and loving person who put others before herself. God created a wonderful human being with her. No matter who you were, she made you feel loved and cared for when you met her. She was such a giving person of her time, love, and herself. Even beyond death, she continues to give with amazing memories of her and even more so as an organ donor.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
